Happy Fancy Drink Friday Friends!
Today marks a big day for Erik. Today was his last day with the team he has worked with for the last 15 years. He will still be with GXO, but instead of being in the Sturtevant warehouse (which is closing in Nov), he will be at the new Zebra warehouse in Pleasant Prairie. Closer drive to work, same benefits, same position, new team.
These people have been his family for so long
Watching him cry when I got home broke my heart.
In honor of him saying farewell, tonight's Fancy drink is....
Fizzy Farewell:
Here is what you will need-
- 1 ounce gin
- 2 dashes simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice
- 2 ounces Champagne
Add gin simple syrup and lemon juice to shaker with ice. Shake well
Add ice to glass. Pour in champagne. Add mixture from shaker. Top with more champagne.
Enjoy!
