Evening Fancy Drink Friends!
Today's Fancy drink was a simple request, something made with Scotch.
Ok. East enough. First off, to get Scotch. Not one we keep in our home bar, but one well worth the investment. 

I choose the Penicillin cocktail for the honey syrup and scotch combination.  So yum!
So, here you go!


What you will need:
1oz honey
1oz water
1in piece of ginger
2oz blended Soctch
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/4oz malt Scotch

1. Make the Honey Ginger syrup:
Honey-ginger syrup: Combine 1 oz honey, 1 1-inch piece of peeled and thinly sliced ginger and 1 oz water in a microwave safe bowl, microwave on high for 1min and bring to a boil. Stir and cook another 1min. Place in the refrigerator to steep overnight or in the refrigerator for 10min to cool. Strain over cup.

2. Add blended Scotch, lemon juice, and syrup to shaker with ice. Shake until chilled 

3. Pour over ice into glass.

4. Top with a splash of malt Scotch.
