Friday February 3rd

Happy Fancy drink Friday everyone!
Hope this post finds you well!
This last week had been full of ups and downs for sure.

The DOWNS

Let's start with me:
Back in Dec my doctor (primary care) ordered both an echo and a stress test. The stress test was fine, the echo showed an enlargement in the left atrium and ventricle. The cardiologist I am now seeing was not concerned about that, he had more concern about the 4cm ascending aortic aneurysm. He ordered a ultrasound to make sure no further aneurysms were further down the aorta. Good news is nothing was found.
So we just go into "maintenance" with the one by my heart. If it gets bigger, i go into for surgery. If it stays the same, we monitor and keep watch.

For Erik:
The job at Zebra is going ok. GXO (his old company) is being sued by Zebra for loss of product. No surprise there.
He is still learning the job, learning the company and hopes to retire from there.

The UPs.
Work for me is in a "restructure" again in our department. With people retiring, the usual shift happens of take overs and inter-department changes. This year is no different. I have been on the network team for just over a year now and coming in July, I will see another change as another Director in our department retires. We will see how it shakes out.  Either way, I will still have a job and keep going.

We are hoping to do a bit more traveling this year, starting with our Anniversary in April. We are planning a week long trip to Michigan to do another brewery tour. Unfortunately, our anniversary falls the same day as Easter this year.  We will see how that plays out with family.

On to tonight's Fancy Drink.
